The Mormon Rebrand is FAILING.
Description: The Mormon Church has spent the last several years desperately trying to rebrand, and as an ExMormon, it's been pretty hilarious to watch. From ditching the word "Mormon" to embracing crosses and putting Jesus front and center, the church I grew up in is becoming increasingly unrecognizable. But there's a problem: even Mormons can't seem to keep up with the rebrand, and mainstream Christians aren't exactly rolling out the welcome wagon. So why is the church so determined to change its image, and why does the whole thing seem to be backfiring? Today we're getting into the Mormon-to-Christian rebrand, why I think it's failing, and what it tells us about the future of the Mormon church.
