The Hobbit - Misty Mountains Orchestral Cover

Description: I've always been a huge fan of the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, so when I heard the Hobbit was also going to be made into a movie, I knew I had to play it. In order to emulate the feel of song, "Misty Mountains," sung by the dwarves in the movie, I decided to ask 12 of my friends (total of 13 - same as the number of dwarves in the book) to help me out with this project. Many, many hours later, here is our orchestral rendition performed with 6 violins, 6 cellos, and 1 cajon. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we did making it!

In order of appearance -
Violins: Albert Chang, Ryan Luo, Blair Crossman, Sarah Chung, Lisa Lam, Kevin Guan
Cellos: Alex Chong, Audrey Dunne, Leah Loversky, Linus Kuo, Allison Sherris, Kevin Chung
Cajon: Christopher Song

Original Score: Howard Shore
Arrangement: Albert Chang
Direction/Editing: Albert Chang
Videography: Chloe Shih
Location: Little Bridges at Pomona College

Special thanks to Paula Burkhardt (violin) and William Buchholtz (cello) for helping to record the audio (unfortunately they could not make it to the filming), and Roger Sheu, Paul Koenig, and Eric Puma for assistance during the shooting and consultation.
