Allegations have been leveled against the opposing party; one side claims the victims were lured to the location under the pretext of settling the dispute when the attack occurred. One of the injured victims sustained severe burns and is currently undergoing treatment at the Burn Hospital in Dhaka. Counter-cases have been filed by both sides, and three individuals from both parties have been arrested..
