'Malcolm in the Middle' Cast Breaks Down the Most Iconic Scenes
Description: The cast of 'Malcolm in the Middle' reunites to revisit some of the show’s most iconic scenes—and discovers that even after 20 years, the memories haven’t faded one bit. As they relive the funniest (and most chaotic) moments on set, Bryan Cranston (Hal), Frankie Muniz (Malcolm), and Jane Kaczmarek (Lois) open up with behind-the-scenes stories they’ve never shared before, quickly falling back into the hilarious dynamic that made the show a classic.
Looking back at Hal’s legendary “Funky Town” roller-skate routine, Frankie drops a surprising reveal: he wasn’t a beginner at all—he had actually trained in figure skating as a kid, making it a real challenge to act like he didn’t know what he was doing. Bryan, meanwhile, revisits one of the wildest stunts of the series—covering himself in live bees—and admits it felt “like a massage chair,” adding, “I had to focus on staying awake.” Jane reflects on her unforgettable mud fight with guest star Susan Sarandon, which she still considers a highlight of her career.
Their trip down memory lane comes just as the cast returns for the upcoming reboot, 'Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’–which, according to them, felt like slipping back into a pair of comfortable shoes–like no time had passed at all.
