Description: Moving to a new country can be difficult for anyone, especially for a teenager. But our second speaker, Mia, who has lived in six countries and attended six schools, turned every new beginning into a fresh opportunity for growth. Leaving familiar places behind isn't easy, but through these changes, Mia learned to welcome uncertainty with confidence. Mia is a 16-year-old student who has lived in six countries and attended six different schools. Through constantly adapting to new places, people, and environments, she has learned that beginning again does not mean starting from zero. In her talk, Mia shares her experiences of moving, finding belonging, and learning to embrace uncertainty, showing how every new beginning carries the lessons and experiences of everything that came before.
