Trump’s White House Makeover: Helipad Gets Ready As Ballroom Construction Rolls On | Watch

Description: Workers have completed the finishing touches on President Donald Trump’s new helipad on the White House South Lawn. The helipad sits beside the site of Trump’s proposed $400 million White House ballroom, which is facing legal challenges. Trump has praised the granite landing zone and said the new facility would impress visiting foreign leaders. His administration has also argued that the ballroom project would improve White House security, including through anti-drone technology.
