Hey everyone!!! My last semester was amazingly fun, but also incredibly busy/insane/#whatissleep...so I apologize for not releasing videos in the past few months. One of my new year's resolution is to find more time to make videos consistently :)
To get the ball rolling, here's my first cover of the year made with my wonderful sister, Tiffany Chang (http://www.youtube.com/user/rainbowpig2). We both saw Frozen, and fell in love with the movie and its music.
As siblings, we thought it would be fun to do little bit of role-playing, so she's "Anna" on violin, while I'm "Elsa" on viola. For the backtrack, we both played violin, viola, and piano to create the acoustic, string ensemble-like sound.
Many thanks to Ryan Yu and our mom for helping us film our duet scenes, and Eric Puma, for providing a critical ear during the audio mixing process!
Violin Solo - Tiffany Chang
Viola Solo - Albert Chang
Instrumental Backtrack - Albert and Tiffany Chang
Videographers - Ryan Yu, Albert Chang, Tiffany Chang, Yoshi Chang
Audio Recording/Mixing - Albert Chang
Video Editing - Albert Chang
Original Song - Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez
Unfortunately this time, my sister and I essentially arranged the whole medley by ear, with some inspiration from several existing sheet music/arrangements, so no sheet music this time. Check out David Russel's ((http://www.youtube.com/DavidRussell323) transcription of Let it Go, performed by Joanna Lee (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO6HtZEpJbk), if you're looking for a violin or viola sheet music. :)
