Description: A Brilliant SciFi Film That Was Years Ahead of Hollywood — Starring ’60s Screen Legends | Space Doom
In 1950s Los Angeles, a mysterious man arrives with an unusual medical condition and an even stranger secret.
Calling himself Mr. Johnson, he lives quietly behind dark glasses and avoids unnecessary contact with the outside world. To those around him, he appears to be an eccentric and wealthy recluse.
But Mr. Johnson is not what he seems.
Behind his human appearance is a visitor from another world, sent to Earth on a desperate mission connected to the survival of his distant civilization.
When physician Dr. Frederick Rochelle is asked to examine him, the case quickly becomes unlike anything modern medicine can explain. Strange blood samples, unusual behavior, unexplained disappearances, and mysterious technology begin raising disturbing questions.
Nurse Nadine Storey soon finds herself drawn into the mystery.
The longer she remains inside Mr. Johnson’s isolated world, the more she realizes that something dangerous may be hiding behind his calm appearance.
Who is he really?
Why has he come to Earth?
And what does he need from humanity?
What follows is a dark and atmospheric journey into one of the classic fears of the early space age — the possibility that visitors from beyond Earth may already be living among us.
Blending science fiction, horror, mystery, alien technology, Cold War paranoia, and the eerie atmosphere of 1950s American cinema, Not of This Earth is a fascinating cult classic from director Roger Corman.
Director – Roger Corman
Stars – Paul Birch, Beverly Garland, Morgan Jones
Sci-Fi, Horror, Thriller
