Description: New York state prosecutors have reopened an investigation into the alleged rape of a woman at Cornell University in 2024.

The woman filed a lawsuit against the university alleging she was drugged and assaulted at a fraternity house. She also alleged that Cornell failed to adequately punish the men involved.

Cornell has said it supported presenting the case to a grand jury, while rejecting as "false" claims that it failed to punish those involved.
