1 of 1 Classic Car Body Swap! Rancho Onto A Subaru Impreza
Description: Welcome back to the 1 of 1 classic car body swap with the @TheLateBrakeShow where we continue fabricating the windscreen surround, one of the most important structural areas that will permanently tie the Talbot Matra Rancho shell to the Subaru chassis. Getting this right is critical, as the windscreen frame controls the alignment of the roof, doors, and overall structure of the car.
Part way through the build we also get a visit from Jonny Smith, who stops by the workshop to film his own update for the The Late Brake Show and see how the project is progressing. It’s always good to have the owner back to check in on the madness.
To keep the momentum going, we also start preparing some of the Subaru running gear, sending key components off for powder coating so they come back looking fresh and ready for the next stage of the build.
